Some info about me

Research interests

My research interests include:

(a) Library Networks with an emphasis on shared bibliographic data management systems and collaborative systems for managing digital collections; and
(b) Digital Content Management with an emphasis on electronic scientific publications, scholarly communication, on the models of access and dissemination of scientific content, on research data as well as on the procedures of measurement and evaluation of research activity.

Studies and previous experience

I hold a PhD in Communications, Electronics & Information Systems from the National Technical University of Athens and a degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.

I was the technical manager of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Association from 2005 to 2016 and I have participated in many development and research projects which were funded by European and national programs (FP6, FP7, Horizon2020 and NSRF).
